Full Year Academy (2019-2020)

The Youth Academy is open to girls and boys U9-U18.  This includes players born in 2011 through 2001.  Similar to the Major League Soccer (MLS) Youth Development initiative established in 2006, requiring each MLS club to identify and develop players in their respective home territories, VB City FC also believes in providing upcoming players with professional soccer aspirations an opportunity to pursue their dreams while also continuing their education and remaining close to their family at home.

The VB City FC Academy program is designed for the elite player (boys and girls), offering a year round training model and is focused on long term player development and identification at the collegiate, amateur and professional levels. It is run in connection with the VB City FC NPSL (men) and WPSL (women) First Team. Tryout

2019 Summer Camp

VB City FC will be hosting a 5 day Summer Camp for players. This Summer Camp will give players a week of professional training. The camp will provide a balance between activities and games that will allow players to be challenged and explore the game.

Grassroots Academy (Fall 2019)

Grassroots players will be guided by a trained professional staff equipped to handle the development of players at this impressionable age.  Players will train two days per week with festival matches on Saturdays.  Training sessions will include a variety of games and activities designed to keep players engaged.  Activities will focus on the four major components of soccer development including technique, tactics, mental ability, and physical ability.  Our training program will maximize technical repetitions, provide decision making opportunities, develop social and teamwork attributes, and train athletic abilities.  This will be accomplished in an environment where players enjoy their participation, learn new skills, and have an appropriate balance between challenge and success.
